The ex-wife of the head of the world’s largest law firm has filed a lawsuit in London, seven years after leaving the company.
Amgad Hussein led Dentons’ operations in Saudi Arabia when he was with the company from 2007 to 2017. During his time there, his work was primarily focused on major American, European, and Asian banking, commercial, and corporate establishments operating in Saudi Arabia.
Dentons operates in partnership with The Law Firm of Wael A. Alissa, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading law firms. The company is located in Riyadh, opened in 2007, and Jeddah, opened in 2017.
Husein left the law firm in 2017 and according to his LinkedIn, he does not have any current company listed as employment.
This week, the High Court’s rating formula shows that Hussein has filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Dentons. The lawsuit was filed with the Commercial and Property Courts, which are a specialized court within the High Court.
The formula implies which law company you have appointed, but it does imply that your lawyer is Sham Uddin of 10KBW. Dentons’ legal representative is still known to protect this claim.
Dentons and Hussein have been contacted for comment.
