Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Monday that three airport hotels (Lemon Tree, Red Fox and IBIS) will set up quarantine services amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
In view of the immediate spread of the novel coronavirus, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday told three airport hotels (Lemon Tree, Red Fox, IBIS) to set up quarantine services. Speaking to the microblogging site, Kejriwal said that other people arriving from and in quarantine want high-end amenities, which is why the government has allocated 3 hotels out of 182 rooms. Kejriwal also discussed that the costs will be set and paid by those who want greater and sumptuous isolation.

In the past, the Chief Minister reviewed the Delhi Government’s efforts in plenary to engage the coronavirus through video conferencing with doctors, medical doctors, municipal commissioners, as well as ministers and senior officials.
After the meeting, Kejriwal told a news conference: “All gyms, nightclubs and spas will be closed until March 31. No gatherings of more than 50 people or weddings will be allowed. Also for weddings, we ask if you can postpone it, so please do it. He added: “We are quarantining patients. If there is an outbreak, we are in a position to have about 500 hospital beds. We ask and call on other people in quarantine to stay strictly indoors. “

On Sunday, two more people undergoing coronavirus treatment in Delhi were discharged from hospital after recovering, the government said. So far, Delhi has recorded seven positive cases, in addition to one patient who died. Of those, two other people who had previously tested positive for COVID-19 and had been admitted to hospital were discharged after treatment, the Delhi Department of Health said in a statement.

The number of detected cases of the novel coronavirus in India has risen to 118, the Health Ministry said late Sunday. Of the 110 cases, 17 patients are foreign nationals.
