Former Labour MP Michael Danthrough said US President Joe Biden “humiliated” Iran in the standoff between Israel and Hamas because they were “dancing to their beat”.
According to US General Jack Keane, Iranian-backed militias have been attacking US forces for more than a month in Syria and Iraq, totaling 65 attacks in which around 60 workers were injured.
“I’m very interested in the ability of the U. S. to resist,” Danby told Sky News Australia.
“The challenge in all of this, and even in that of the hostages, is the Iranians: we are all dancing to their beat.
“The ring of fire with which they surrounded Israel is the cause of all this and we continue to fill them with money by applying oil sanctions and giving them subsidies.
