Dalvin Cook reportedly shows up to Vikings camp for COVID-19 test amid reports of a holdout

“Dalvin has not spoken to him in regards to reporting to camp,” Hiller said. “We are unsure why this was said. I hope Dalvin can continue to play a major role in the Vikings’ future success.”

The fourth-year running running back is on the final year of his $6.35 million rookie deal and is due $2 million in salary and signing bonus this season. He’s reportedly looking for an extension and security after tallying 1,135 rushing yards, 519 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

Whether or not Cook plans to continue with training camp, he’s not likely giving up on his desire for a contract extension.
