Daily update of the University of Kansas health system
During Wednesday’s update of the University of Kansas Health System, doctors said they had 29 patients in the hospital with active COVID-19 infection. Of these, 11 are under intensive care and seven are connected to a fan. Another 33 patients are recovering from COVID-19 in the hospital but are not actively infected.

Blue Springs to pay notable bills
Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the Community Services League has helped many others in its Blue Springs office and on Monday, Blue Springs City Council allocated $250,000 of its federal investment under the CARES Act to the organization.
