CVS Health said Monday that it would hire 15,000 employees as the pharmacy chain prepares for an expected increase in coronavirus and flu cases over the coming fall and winter months.
Most, more than 10,000 of the new positions, will be full-time and part-time authorized pharmacy technicians to verify COVID-19, prescription procedures and drug administration, according to the chain, which operates around 10,000 pharmacies.
