Portuguese captain and Juventus ahead, Cristiano Ronaldo, tested positive for COVID-19 on 22 October, according to a report by Mail Today. This may mean that Ronaldo will miss his club’s Champions League match against Barcelona next week.

The 35-year-old tested positive for the virus on 14 October and missed the UEFA Nations League match against Sweden on 14 October. At the time, the Portuguese football federation said Ronaldo had no symptoms and was fine.

Reports recommend that UEFA regulations state that a player will have to test negative for the virus at least one week before an attack before he can play.
