Cresset aims to expand with new headquarters in India

The move follows Cresset’s expansion with a facility in Boston earlier this year.

In addition, the opening of this new facility reinforces CRO’s stature as a key player in the field of drug discovery, the company said.

Commenting on the new headquarters, Cresset’s Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder, Dr Mark Mackey, said: “The launch of our new site in India marks an important milestone in our overseas expansion and expansion as a company. The skill pool and centers of excellence that will be in place in the region will allow us to expand our existing service we provide to clients and expand strong relationships through face-to-face contacts on the ground.

“We already have a satellite office in Bangalore, where a large part of our India is currently located. The new office will allow us to grow our global business and gain access to grants in the Indian market. “

From its origins in the UK, Cresset has grown into a global drug discovery solutions company, with more than 60% of its profits now coming from outside the UK.

The company has grown in recent years, achieving an average annual expansion of more than 25% and an increase in headcount since 2020.

The new office in India will allow Cresset to expand its existing advertising presence in the Asia-Pacific region and increase its success in the region’s markets, adding South Korea, Japan, China and Australasia.

The new appointments in India will cover a diversity of areas, adding sales and development.

As part of their work in India, Mackey and Chief Commercial Officer David Bardsley will participate in the India Scholars Conference in Delhi on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
