Well, a lot of us were wondering if we were going to see an “October surprise” from the Trump or Biden camps. Testing the president and the first positive girl for coronavirus wasn’t on my list of possibilities, but here we are. President Trump and Melania make a quick and easy recovery.
No one knows what it will be like next month; there are too many variables, but let’s assume, while we wait, that Trump is temporarily recovering without debilitating consequences, which is what the vast majority of people, even the elderly.
The president’s many critics say this underscores his version that he refused to take the coronavirus seriously, but it’s ridiculous. Left-wing politicians adding that Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam and his wife tested positive recently, as did Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Justin Pierre James Trudeau’s wife: Canada is preparing for imaginable “disruptions” after the United States Trump’s electoral COVID, “October The Surprise,” can make him a better candidate, and the user “Heal’Array” , who never contracted the disease, but was quarantined.
As fitness experts continually remind us, even those who take wonderful precautions can get COVID-19.
Self-disalrillation for up to two weeks can damage trump’s campaign, as his non-public appearance at demonstrations energizes Trump and his supporters.
On the other hand, there would possibly be a “vote of sympathy” that is helping him. Did I handle Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden? Joe Biden Biden: Trump” continues to lie to us ‘about the chants of the Coronavirus Rally crowd’. lock him up ‘while Trump calls Biden’s circle of relatives ‘a fraudulent company’. Arizona’s undecided electorate distrusts Trump, yearns for stability, that would be my greatest fear.
The sympathy vote is real, albeit short-lived, Amy Jasperson, a political science professor at Rhodes College who wrote about the sympathy vote, told The Atlantic in 2014. Possibly there would be a wave of sympathy for a politician, especially when someone close to the candidate dies. But this sympathy doesn’t last long and may not be strong enough to propel a stranger to victory.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson appears to have seen an increase in popularity after declaring in late March that he had tested positive or Covid-19, and then entered the hospital.
However, Johnson’s popularity peaked in mid-April at around 66% and in the mid-1940s in June, according to a YouGov survey, but some now wonder if this accumulation is the result of the disease contraction.
In addition to the vote of sympathy, if Trump temporarily recovers and hits the electoral crusade hard, it may be what many of his close advisers have continually said: the guy is remarkably energetic, especially considering his 74th birthday.
People close to Trump told me they had a hard time following him, who may just circle around many other people his age. I don’t know how he does it.
If others are concerned about the power and ability of “Sleepy Joe” to act, a vibrant Trump after recovery replaces his mind.
But that’s where I think positive COVID-19 control and a quick and successful recovery can help Trump: humility.
Trump can boast a formidable economic record, and he does.
But other people who face and triumph over a threatening illness feel they have won a divine reprieve – a momentary opportunity.
This delight can be humiliating, even for those who perform better confidently, and this can bring credit to a person. And if anything Trump’s top supporters say they’d like to change, it’s sharper.
A restored and revitalized Trump, who has faced the fragility of life and health, may emerge only as a strong leader, but as a more understanding leader. He’s a hard candidate to beat.
