Santo Domingo – Dominican Republic recorded on Thursday a new record of deaths by COVID-19 in one day, surpassing the 30 instances reported on August 8, which remained the number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
With 36 deaths in the last 24 hours, the list totals 1,801 more people who have died, according to the death toll of the Ministry of Public Health, which puts the mortality rate at 1.86%.
In addition, 1,002 new cases were reported, for a total of 96,629 inflamed cases.Since 19 August, the number of new positives has not exceeded 1,000 cases.
