Cook County remains at the “high” for COVID transmission.
The IDPH said that “daily deaths reported on weekends and early days of the week would possibly be low” and “these deaths will be recorded in the following days. “
There have been at least 3,550,589 overall COVID cases in the state since the beginning of the pandemic and at least 34,335 similar deaths.
