On May 13, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Agency for Infrastructure security and cybersecurity (CISA) issued a notice to all U. S. treatment, diagnostic, and vaccine organizations that oppose COVID-19. Chinese hackers, they warned, are targeting universities and physical care facilities, seeking to undermine our efforts to combat COVID-19.
Unfortunately, the Communist Party of China’s (PCCh) attempts to infiltrate our universities and borrow our intellectual assets are not new, but due to COVID-19, the urgency of combating this leak has increased.
We simply cannot cyberattack on taxpayer-funded essential studies. The theft of our country’s COVID-19 studies by the PCCh has vital implications for U.
