POLAND – The city office reopened Tuesday after a COVID-19 outbreak forced the office to close for three days and postponed the limited council assembly for a week.
The workplace was reduced to a worker on Tuesday, who took care of the city clerk’s daily responsibilities with a plastic shield. Phone calls were not answered, but messages can only be left if the extension number is known.
The worker said Tuesday that other workers were “falling like flies” last week, forcing construction to close to the public on Thursday, Friday and Monday of this week.
Tuesday’s committee assembly has been moved to Wednesday, September 28.
City Manager Matt Garside said in an email Tuesday: “Several city staff members tested positive for COVID, one of whom is guilty of collecting assembly documents for our limited council assemblies. The workplace closed Thursday afternoon, Friday and Monday when it was understaffed. The city corridor is open today. “
