Covid: 340 new cases, 28 more deaths, 53,000 recoveries

Santo Domingo – Dominican Republic has added 340 new coronaviruses and 28 deaths announced Wednesday through public health.

The activity of the virus has decreased for more than 12 days.

“The total number of COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic in the country is 92,557, while there have already been 1,613 deaths from the disease,” says the newsletter published on August 26 through Public Health.

He said there were 27,466 cases active, 706 fewer than those reported yesterday, and added that another 63,478 people have recovered from the disease.
