India on Thursday added 408 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours and 568 patients recovered from the disease, according to the latest knowledge of the Ministry of Health of the Union.
The number of coronavirus infections in India rose to 44,670,483, while active instances fell to 5,881.
The death toll rose to 5,30,601 with deaths reported within 24 hours.
Active instances account for 0. 01% of overall infections, while the national recovery rate from Covid-19 has risen to 98. 80%, according to the ministry’s website.
