India recorded 76 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, while the number of active cases stood at 442, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
According to the data, the number of COVID-19 cases in India amounts to 4. 50 crore rupees (4,50,02,179) and the death toll is 5,33,300.
The number of people cured of the disease has risen to 4,44,68,437. The national recovery rate registered 98. 81 percent, according to the Ministry of Health’s website.
The case fatality rate stands at 1.19 per cent.
According to the ministry’s website, 220. 67 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the country.
