The Tokyo Metropolitan Government on Wednesday showed 5327 new cases of COVID-19 in the capital, with an overall reduction of 1732 since last week.
Tokyo recorded 10 new deaths among COVID-19 patients that day, while the number of patients with severe symptoms according to metropolitan government criteria dropped from 3 to 14 from the previous day.
