COVID-19: The curfew in Kuwait will end on August 30

Cairo: The national curfew, followed in Kuwait to involve the coronavirus, will rise on August 30, the government said.

The partial curfew will be lifted as of 3 a.m. on Sunday August 30 throughout Kuwait, he added.

In March, the Kuwaiti government imposed a curfew as a component of efforts to curb the spread of the virus.

In late July, the government reduced the evening curfew by nine to six hours as part of a plan to return to general life in Kuwait.

However, the government said that banning giant gatherings, adding weddings, receptions and mourning ceremonies in public and personal places still applies as a precaution against COVID-19.

Kuwait has recorded a total of 78,767 cases of viruses and 509 deaths due to COVID-19.
