COVID-19: Teachers return tomorrow to Bahraini schools

Cairo: Bahraini teachers and administrators must return to government-run schools on Sunday, marking the beginning of the new school year, the kingdom’s ministry of education said.

Education departments and schools will contact teachers to inform them about their painting schedules or to make paintings at home and at school, making sure that 50% of tutors show up at the school every day, the ministry said, according to Al Watan newspaper.

Students in Bahrain are scheduled to begin the new school year on 16 September amid precautions against COVID-19.

In recent weeks, Bahrain, like other Gulf countries, has eased several restrictions imposed in the past due to the outbreak of the virus.
