For the time being, the number of Ukrainians recovering from a coronavirus infection far exceeds the number of those who fell ill, participants in a classic assembly with government and police officials, chaired by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“While COVID-19 distribution figures are far from perfect, we have noticed that more people are recovering from those who are infected. This is also reflected in the reports of each department. This means that our coordinated movements were correct, and the Ukrainians listened to the recommendations of the authorities. We will have to continue to move according to the situation,” the head of state said under pressure at the meeting, as expressed by the Ukrainian president’s press service.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on the stage in the dispatch of Sophia, whose team is quarantined. According to him, a coronavirus infection has been detected in the maximum members of the team, patients are under the supervision of the doctors, the entire team is isolated, decisions are made in case hospitalization is necessary.
The head of the national police, Ihor Klymenko, said police were checking the operation of the children’s camps, which had been opened due to the pandemic. In addition, the national police issued 235 protocols for the last day in connection with the violation of quarantine measures in institutions, public restaurants and outlets. Overall, since the beginning of inspections, some 18,000 administrative protocols have been developed for 6.6 million UTA.
