Fort Bend County has added a new COVID-19 check to the wheel as school districts prepare to open and restrictions for nursing home visitors begin to loosen.

According to Fort Bend Health and Human Services, the last check is at the Fifth Street Community Center at 3110 Fifth St. in Stafford.

The new one is added to the checks set out in:

Fort Bend County Fair, 4310 Highway 36 in Rosenberg.

Smart Financial Center, 18111 Lexington Blvd. Sugar land.

Gallery Furniture, 7227 West Grand Parkway South in Richmond.

Seven Lakes High School, 9251 S. Fry Road in Katy.

As of Sunday, August 9, 10,021 cases of COVID-10 had been reported in Fort Bend County with 113 deaths, according to county reports. The county administered 52,909 tests.
