MANILA, Philippines – Seven other Filipinos in Europe have coronavirus disease (COVID-19), said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Of these cases, 3,025 are still being treated, while 5,321 patients have already recovered from the disease.
“The FDFA confirms that to date, the total number of Filipinos recovering from COVID-19 remains nearly 60% of the total cases shown since last week,” DFA said.
“Those who are remedying and those who have died as a result of the disease remain at 33% and 7% respectively,” he added.
In the Philippines, the total number of COVID-19s reached 63,000, of which 39,593 were active cases.
Worldwide, more than thirteen million people have become inflamed with the new coronavirus, originally from the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, which expired last year. More than 574,000 have died from the disease worldwide. [C.A]
