Dubai: Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has reported a sudden increase in coronavirus infections among its employees, which led it to close its sterilization services, Al Jarida newspaper reported yesterday.
According to the newspaper, an undersecretary of staff of the ministry and one of the general managers of a public school tested positive for COVID-19, as well as the director of a headquarters and several workers of the minister and some assistants.
As a result of these cases, the ministry has called for the complete closure of sterilization construction from last Thursday until to end any signs of coronavirus.
Newspaper resources revealed that the ministry will initiate procedures to allow access to construction only for those who register for an online appointment. The ministry has also installed a series of sterilization equipment at the entrances of the ministry and elevators and stairs that other people can use when entering and leaving the building.
