Dubai: Saudi Arabia reported 1,402 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections shown in the Kingdom to 284226, the Ministry of Health announced Thursday.
According to Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Mohammad Al Abdul Ali, another 35 people have died as a result of headaches caused by the deadly virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 3055.
He said that another 1775 people more inflamed with COVID-19 had been fully recovered, bringing the total number of instances recovered in the Kingdom to 247,089. The recovery rate is more than 87%. The ministry has conducted more than 50,000 PCR tests in more than 24 hours.
There are 37,490 active cases, 1,890 critical intensive care patients, a minimum 21% in the number of critical cases in the last two weeks,” Dr. Al Abdul Ali said.
“There is no clinical evidence that a user can become inflamed with the virus twice,” he said. “Today, we are reaping compliance with preventive measures taken since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in March,” Dr. Al Abdul Ali added.
