COVID-19: Saudi Arabia reports 1,363 new and 36 dead

Dubai: Saudi Arabia has reported 1,363 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections shown in the kingdom to 302686.

Thirty-six other people died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 3,506, the Ministry of Health said today at its press convention.

Another 1,180 patients have recovered, bringing the total number of cured cases to 274,091 and the cure rate to 92%.

Dr. Mohammad Al Abdul Ali, spokesman for the Ministry of Health, said the kingdom had recorded a 60% drop in active instances to 25,089 instances, adding 1,725 critically extensive treatments.

Jazan overcame Saudi cities in terms of coronavirus cases with 109, followed by Mecca with 106 and Medina with 57, while Riyadh witnessed a significant drop in COVID-19 infections after registering 49 cases.
