Cairo: The Saudi government has said it will allow trucks to enter its territory from other countries while the kingdom is softening the precautions against the coronavirus.
Saudi Customs announced on Twitter the access of trucks arriving in the kingdom and those transiting.
The measure coincides with a royal decree approving a council of the Kingdom’s Political Affairs and Security Council on anti-virus precautions at land crossing points, Saudi newspaper Okaz reported.
The resolution imposes precautionary adequacy measures implemented through other countries on truck driving forces. They come with an evaluation of the driving force of COVID-19 symptoms.
In recent weeks, Saudi Arabia has eased several virus-like restrictions, but the flight suspension imposed in March remains in effect.
