COVID-19: Saudi Arabia 492 new infections, 26 deaths

Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health announced 492 new coronavirus cases in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections shown in the kingdom to 335,097.

Of the total infections shown, active instances were drastically reduced to 10,557, and instances fell to 993, the lowest in several months.

The ministry also reported 26 new headache deaths through the fatal virus, raising the number of COVID-19 deaths in the country to 4794.

The ministry also announced that 592 patients have fully recovered from the deadly disease, bringing the total number of cures to 319,746, with a healing rate of 95. 41%.

Of the new cases recorded today, 55 were recorded in Medina, 52 in Yanbu, 39 in Jeddah and Mecca, and all other cases have been detected in other cities and governorates of the kingdom.
