Millions of others living in southern Ontario, the domain known as the Toronto metropolitan area, would possibly breathe deeply on Friday.

Or at least catch him.

On the day the fitness administration announced the lowest number of daily increases in COVID-19 since last March, the Ontario government said friday, Toronto and the neighboring Peel region, which includes Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga, will be in virtually the rest of the province and move on to Phase 3 of COVID-19’s recovery plan.

In Stage 3, almost all businesses and public spaces can reopen, with fitness measures implemented, and others can join in larger groups.

“While more restaurants, theaters and businesses may hang up their Open for Business signs, we ask everyone to publicly recommend their physical condition and act responsibly,” Prime Minister Doug Ford said in a press release.

“We’ve made great progress that allows us to get back to something a little closer to our lives in general this summer, but we’re still out of danger.”

Twenty-four of Ontario’s 34 public exercises were allowed to enter Stage 3 on July 17, and seven more joined them on July 24.

The only atypical value is Windsor-Essex, that of primary shoots in farms and agribusinesses, which will remain at level 2 until the expansion of its COVID-19 instances decreases.

Two Stage 3 cities, Ottawa and Sudbury, have noticed new COVID-19 cases emerging in days, but Ford said Tuesday that there are no plans to cancel the reopening in any area.

As the province tries to move forward, COVID-19 instances appear to be retreating.

Authorities said the 76 new instances reported wednesday were the smallest accumulated day by day since last March.

The total number of instances in the province is now 38,986, 34,741 instances marked as resolved, and 2,769 deaths.

The province reported a new death similar to COVID-19 on Wednesday.

174 instances were recently marked as resolved.

“This turns out to be a long way from the terrifying winter days when we hold our meetings at the beginning of the pandemic and listen to almost incomprehensible numbers, in terms of the number of cases and projections about the number of other people who could simply lose their lives or get sick,” Toronto Mayor John Tory said at a news convention on Wednesday.

The mayor said he sought to take enhanced Security Measures Stage 3.

These come with the restriction of internal capacity and length of tables in bars and restaurants and require visitors to sit at all times, when using the bathroom or paying.

The province supported the new measures for bars and restaurants.
