Crowe, an American accounting, consulting and generation company with offices around the world, conducted an internal survey of 349 Suite C executives in 3 stages between June and mid-August 2020 for the report of the company’s ongoing study series. The first report assessed sentiment between April and early June. The series of studies collects responses from key sectors such as the public sector, monetary services, construction, aptitude and production and distribution. The report at the moment analyzes the evolving uncertainty and pessimism of respondents, the transition from remote work and the main considerations and movements made across organizations, adding evidence of how their companies and government are dealing with significant social problems.
The moment phase of this survey took place from 15 July to 1 August, which coincided with a national resurgence of the coronavirus. In addition to increased fear of the pandemic at this stage, respondents have also become more pessimistic about the economy in general: 49% were somewhat or very pessimistic in the first phase of the survey, while 54% said so at the time. Respondents also reported greater uncertainty within their organization at the current stage: 28% compared to 22% in the previous phase. a momentary wave of COVID-19 remained largely static, but high, with 85% of respondents, at least in moderation, involved in a possible momentary wave.
