COVID-19: Passengers travelling to Kuwait must provide a negative verification result

Kuwait City: The Directorate-General for Civil Aviation has a list of authorized medical centers in 10 countries where passengers can download a certificate of fitness before arriving in Kuwait.

“According to the fitness authorities, all passengers arriving at Kuwait International Airport must present a certificate in English (PCR) issued through one of the accredited laboratories,” the Directorate-General for Civil Aviation said in a tweet.

The document lists fitness centres in 10 countries: India, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Germany, Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

All passengers arriving in Kuwait must present a certificate of physical fitness from one of the approved medical centers proving that they have tested negative in COVID-19. Verification should be carried out up to 96 hours before departure.

Kuwait International Airport is expected to enter service on 1 August at 30%. The Directorate-General for Civil Aviation announced that flights would depart from Kuwait to the following countries: Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Ethiopia, United Kingdom, Turkey, Iran, Nepal, Switzerland, Germany, Azerbaijan, Philippines and India.
