COVID-19: Oman reports 166 new cases, total now 84818

Cairo: Oman said his total coronavirus infections had reached 84818, a buildup of 166 new cases from the previous day’s count.

The Oman Ministry of Health has estimated the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the country in 646 with 4 new deaths.

The total number of recovered patients in the sultanate rose to 79,409, or 93. 6%, the ministry told Omani news firm ONA.

The ministry added that the number of patients receiving intensive care is 148.

Last week, Oman lifted a night movement ban imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
