COVID-19: Oman confirms 162 cases, 10 deaths

Cairo: Oman announced Sunday that his general infections of the new coronavirus have accumulated to 83086, a buildup of 162 new instances of the previous day’s count.

The Oman Ministry of Health has estimated the total number of COVID-19 deaths in 572 with 10 new deaths.

The total number of recovered patients in the sultanate reached 77,680, or 93.5%, the ministry told Omani news firm ONA.

The ministry added that the number of patients receiving intensive care is 151.

Last week, a report through the Ministry of Health implied that epidemiological knowledge involved minimizing cases of infection in Oman.

On Saturday, the Oman government lifted the ban on night movements imposed to involve COVID-19.
