Kuwait City: The Directorate-General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced that passengers under the age of 6 are exempt from PCR control upon arrival in Kuwait. The resolution was based on updates from the aptitude authorities.
In an effort to ease restrictions, the DGAC announced that customers are exempt from offering a PCR certificate if they do so for 4 days or less.
In addition, the DGCA also announced that those arriving in Kuwait will be able to provide a valid PCR certificate that has been completed up to 96 hours of 72 hours.
In the meantime, all passengers arriving in the country must be quarantined for 14 days.
The August 1 ban on 32 “high-risk” countries is still in place. When the ban was first announced, the list included 31 countries, and then, a few weeks ago, Afghanistan was added to the list.
State media reported that the flight ban did not relate to nationality, but to the fact that a user was traveling to a “high-risk” country. Anyone seeking access to Kuwait from one of the 32 countries will have to make a stopover in an enduring country for 14 days before entering Kuwait.
