COVID-19: NCDC 152 new infections, totaling 65148

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown 152 new pandemic coronavirus infections (COVID-19) in the country.

The NCDC reported this on Sunday on its verified website.

The center noted that the country had so far tested another 705809 people since the first case related to the COVID-19 pandemic announced on 27 February 2020 was shown.

The public fitness firm states that “new infections bring the total number of infections in the country to 65,148. “

He added that new contagions had been reported in seven federation states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with no coronavirus deaths in 24 hours in the country.

He said the new patients had been treated effectively and sent back, which raised the total number of returnees to 61,073 in the country.

He said he had activated a Level III National Emergency Operations Center (NSC) to coordinate the national reaction in the country.

Fitness firm 152 came from Lagos-136, Kano-4, Niger-3, Ekiti-2, Kaduna-2, Ogun-2, Taraba-2 and FCT-1.

The NCDC stated that “to date, 65,148 have been confirmed, 61,073 patients have been discharged and 1,163 deaths have been reported in 36 states and CTF. “

However, there were 2,912 active instances across the country.

The firm pleaded with Nigerians to continue to adhere to COVID-19 protocols to remain safe, and emphasized that the coronavirus pandemic is not yet over.
