The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has 122 new infections from the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) in the country.
The NCDC reported this on Wednesday on its verified website.
The public fitness firm said the new infection was reported in 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory (TTF).
The firm said infections had brought the total number of in the country to 67,838.
Nigeria has so far tested another 779708 people since the first case of the COVID-19 pandemic announced on 27 February 2020.
The NCDC said the country had recorded a total of 1,177 deaths, 67,960 showed infections and reported 63,839 patients in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The fitness firm reported a COVID-19-related death in the more than 24 hours in the country, adding that 409 patients had been treated and sent back from isolation centers across the country.
The firm said Kaduna recorded the number of cases with 37 infections, followed by Lagos with 29 infections, Plateau had 25, Ekiti had nine, while River had five infections.
The additional breakdown showed that Ogun had five, Edo four, Kwara four, Bayelsa two, while Bauchi and Kano had one each.
A national multisectoral emergency operations centre had been activated at Level 3 and continued to coordinate national reaction activities. (NAN)
