COVID-19 moves more Filipinos abroad, DFA says

MANILA, Philippines – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported Friday that 65 other Filipinos had contracted COVID-19.

Of this amount, the DFA noted that 3,275 were receiving repair, while 5,531 were recovered or released. The death toll remains at 666 without additional deaths, the firm added.

“On the last day of July, the DFA reports a 1.26% increase in the total number of Filipinos recovering from COVID-19 with 69 new recoveries in the Middle East, to yesterday’s figures,” he said.

In a breakdown, AFP’s knowledge showed that 6,745 Filipinos in the Middle East and Africa were inflamed with COVID-19; 1,111 are in Europe; 911 are in the Asia-Pacific region; and 705 are in the Americas.
