Mask orders are popping up across the state as fitness experts urge wearing a universal mask to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and prevent the emerging number of coronavirus-related deaths in the United States.

Coronavirus case and death rates vary wildly from state to state without a mask-wearing order, in part because some governors have issued more city-specific rules on masks, while others have taken steps to prevent their local government from issuing mask-wearing orders.
