A 55-year-old patient with coronavirus disease (Covid-19), who disappeared saturday from a government hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, was discovered dead in trees about 500 metres away on Sunday night.
CCTV footage, which has now gone viral, shows a guy who looks like the patient leaving the Covid-19 service at NHS Hospital around 4.30pm on Saturday.
Authorities said his body was detected through day care workers near the home of a police officer, who then informed police.
The man’s circle of relatives said he had not obtained a suitable remedy at THE NRS hospital. However, management rejected their requests.

Dinesh Kumar Singh, the city’s police superintendent, said the Rajapur domain guy entered the hospital on Friday and disappeared on Saturday night.
A missing user’s complaint was filed in the wake of their family complaint and a big search was filed, but they may not find it.
The family circle said they arrived at the hospital when their phone was off since Saturday night. Staff told them that he had fled the hospital despite efforts to arrest him.
The man’s daughter claimed that her father had informed her of the poor condition of the room by talking to her on the phone.
The family circle posted an expired audio clip on Sunday, claiming the guy had called them Saturday morning, hours before “escaping” from the hospital. He reportedly claimed that his court cases had not been heard at the hospital.
“My mouth dried up all night. I felt suffocated probably by the fan. I tried to tell a few other people who helped me, but no one listened to me,” the guy says in the video as he talked to members of the family circle.

A CCTV footage also shows a group of men walking out of the same gate from which the man came out. The hospital administration has claimed the men work with the hospital and were trying to pursue the patient.
“This patient had a fever and trouble breathing. His condition was improving. However, it came out suddenly. Doctors and staff tried to prevent it, but left before anyone could prevent it.
