SINGAPORE – Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home has suspended all physical visits to its facilities after a former member tested positive for COVID-19 in the Philippines a few days after leaving the nursing home.

The former physical care painter at 148A Silat Avenue (LAM Silat) was inflamed sunday (August 30) after returning to the Philippines, the Integrated Care Agency (AIC) announced Monday night. His last time in paintings was on August 26 when he had no symptoms.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) and the AIC worked with LAM Silat to verify 90 and citizens who may have been in contact with the case. The effects of the tests for the 1990s yielded negative effects for COVID-19. LAM Silat will continue to monitor the fitness of its citizens.

In addition to postponing visits, LAM Silat has also cleaned and disinfected the affected service and nursing home spaces very well, and will use non-public protective devices through its staff.

The AIC stated that it would continue to monitor the stage intensively and help the retirement home ensure continuity of care for its citizens during this period.

The Ministry of Health showed new instances of COVID-19 in Singapore on Monday afternoon, bringing the total to 56812.
