Cairo: Kuwait has recorded three hundred new instances of new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, with a downward trend appearing as the country’s number of infections reached 59204, Kuwaiti news firm KUNA reported on Sunday.
The most recent cases are presented with 211 Kuwaitis and 89 foreign residents, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said.
The official announced the death due to COVID-19, bringing the total number of such deaths in Kuwait to 408.
All new cases came into contact with inflamed Americans in the past or are being investigated to locate infection resources and identify those in contact, Dr. Al Sanad said.
There are 132 patients receiving extensive care, the official said in a media update.
The total number of viral tests in Kuwait reached 459,349 long after the 2009 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, Dr. Al Sanad said.
The Ministry of Health reported that 667 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease in Kuwait to 49,687.
