COVID-19: Kuwait reports 857 new cases, total number of infections rises to 91,244

Cairo: Kuwait has shown 857 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, an increase of 52 from the count of subsequent days, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 91,244.

Two COVID-19 deaths have been recorded, bringing the number of disease deaths in Kuwait to 548, Health Ministry spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said today.

There are 89 patients receiving comprehensive care, added Dr. Al Sanad, according to the Kuwaiti news firm KUNA.

Kuwait’s total virus number reached 653,099 after 5,048 seconds were performed in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health reported that 617 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease in Kuwait to 81,654.
