Cairo: Kuwait showed 704 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, a minimum of 121 cases from the previous day’s count, bringing the country’s total number of infections to 98,528.
Five deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded, bringing the death toll in Kuwait to 580, Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said in an update.
There are 101 patients receiving comprehensive care, KUNA added, according to Kuwaiti news firm KUNA.
The total number of viral tests in Kuwait reached 701,484 after 5,928 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
The ministry reported that general recoveries in Kuwait reached 88,776 after 865 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
