COVID-19: Kuwait reports 521 new infections, generally reaching 99,049

Cairo: Kuwait showed 521 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, a minimum of 183 cases compared to the previous day’s count, bringing the country’s total number of infections to 99,049.

Another death was recorded due to COVID-19, bringing the number of deaths due to the disease in Kuwait to 581, said fitness ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad in an update.

There are 96 patients receiving comprehensive care, KUNA added, according to Kuwaiti news firm KUNA.

The total number of viruses in Kuwait reached 705,029 after 3,545 seconds were performed in more than 24 hours.

The ministry said overall recoveries in Kuwait had increased to 89,498 after 722 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
