Cairo: Kuwait has shown 514 new instances of new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, an accumulation of 42 instances since the count of subsequent days, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 71713, the Kuwaiti news firm KUNA reported on Sunday.
The most recent cases involve 359 Kuwaitis and foreign residents, health Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said in an update.
All new instances that were in contact in the past inflamed Americans or are being investigated to locate infection resources and identify those who were in contact, he added.
Four new DEATHS were announced by COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in Kuwait to 478.
There are 115 patients receiving intensive care, Dr. Al Sanad said.
The total number of viral tests in Kuwait has reached 532,353, so after 3223 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours, Dr. Al Sanad said.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 713 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease in Kuwait to 63,519.
Kuwait recently presented a plan to return to general life.
Last week, the Gulf country began to reduce the night-curfew to six hours a day, while 50% of public sector workers and staff were allowed to return to work.
