COVID-19: Kuwait registers 740 new cases

Cairo: Kuwait has shown 740 new cases of new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, below the count of subsequent days, bringing the country’s total number of infections to 92,882.

Four COVID-19 deaths have been recorded, bringing the number of disease deaths in Kuwait to 556, Health Ministry spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said Thursday.

There are 90 patients receiving intensive care, Dr. Al Sanad added, according to Kuwaiti news firm KUNA.

Kuwait’s total virus number reached 663,135 after 5,384 seconds were performed in more than 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health also reported that general recoveries in Kuwait had increased to 83,040 after 568 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
