Kuwait: Kuwait has shown 666 more cases of the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s number of infections to 56174, Kuwaiti news firm KUNA reported on Tuesday.
The newest are 421 Kuwaitis and 245 foreign residents, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said.
Three new COVID-19 deaths raised the total number of deaths in Kuwait to 396, according to the official.
All new instances that were in contact in the past inflamed Americans or are being investigated for sources of infection and people who were in contact, Dr. Al Sanad said.
There are 156 patients receiving intensive care, the official said.
The total number of viral tests in Kuwait has reached 441,143 to date after 3,721 tests have been conducted in more than 24 hours, Dr. Al Sanad.
The Ministry of Health reported that 805 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease to 46,161 in Kuwait.
