COVID-19: Kuwait registers 508 new cases; in total to 76,205

Cairo: Kuwait recorded 508 new cases of the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, a drop of 4 cases from the count announced the previous day, bringing the country’s total number of infections to 76,205, the Kuwaiti news firm reported Sunday. KUNA.

Three more deaths from COVID-19 have been announced, bringing the total deaths in Kuwait to 501.

There are 117 patients who receive comprehensive care, Dr. Al Sanad said.

The total number of virus tests in Kuwait rose to 558,800 after 2,863 tests carried out in more than 24 hours, the official added.

The Health Department also reported that 616 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from the disease in Kuwait to 68,135.

Kuwait has noticed a downward trend in viral infections within days.
