Cairo: Kuwait has recorded 614 new cases of new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, with a downward trend showing bringing the number of infections in the country to 55508, Kuwaiti news firm KUNA reported on Monday. Kuwait showed 836 such cases the day before.
The reported instances on Monday are 378 Kuwaitis and 236 foreign residents, according to the spokesman for the ministry of fitness, Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad.
Three new COVID-19 deaths brought the total number of deaths in Kuwait to 393, to the official.
All new cases came into contact with inflamed Americans in the past or are being investigated for infection resources, Dr. Al Sanad said.
There are 148 patients receiving extensive care, the official said.
The total number of viral tests in Kuwait has reached 437,422, so after 4,086 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours, Dr. Al Sanad said.
The Ministry of Health reported that another 746 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease to 45,356 in Kuwait.
