Kuwait: Kuwait: Kuwait has recorded 553 cases of new coronavirus in more than 24 hours, bringing the country’s number of infections to 58221, Kuwaiti news firm KUNA reported on Friday.
The newest are 319 Kuwaitis and 234 foreign residents, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said.
Two COVID-19 deaths raised the total number of deaths in Kuwait to 404, according to the official.
All new cases that have been in contact with Americans in the past angered or are being investigated for infection resources and those that were in contact, Dr. Al Sanad said.
There are 143 patients receiving extensive care treatment, the official said in a media update.
The total number of viral tests in Kuwait has reached 452,970, after 3,443 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours, Dr. Al Sanad said.
The Ministry of Health reported Friday that 836 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease in Kuwait to 48381.
