COVID-19: Kuwait lifts partial curfew after days

Dubai: Kuwait officially ended a partial curfew in the country after 66 days of implementation in an effort to curb COVID-19, local media reported.

According to the Ministry of the Interior, police detentions have been lifted. The partial curfew imposed on 7 March following the escalation of the epidemiological signs of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In recent months, Kuwait has reported an upward trend in COVID-19 infections. So far, the country has shown more than 289,243 COVID-19 infections, adding 1,674 deaths and 274,554 cures.
